Every claim in every story links to its source, and every quote links to the moment it was said — down to the timestamp. We call them receipts. If a story says it, you can check it. News synthesized by software and reviewed by a human should have to show its work; ours does.

• A human reviews everything.Nothing is published in Picklewire's name that the editor hasn't read and approved.
• We send traffic to the source. Stories summarize and link out; the full conversation belongs to the people who made it.

Who's behind it

Picklewire is run by Tommy, an obsessive fan with a pipeline that does the listening. Stories carry "Reviewed by Tommy ✓" because a person, not a feed, decides what publishes.
