In an MLP clash between the Atlanta Bouncers and the LA Mad Drops, Devilliers was accidentally caught by teammate Jessie Irvine's paddle, opening a cut above his eye that sent blood down his face.
After today, I never thought I would say that but I have to agree with @ChristianAlshon that pickleball is a tougher sport than tennis 😆
He shook it off. Devilliers and Irvine regrouped to beat Ben Johns and Jade Kawamoto in the mixed doubles game — though the overall team match still got away from Atlanta, with LA taking it in a Dreambreaker, 21-17.
