New Jersey beat Columbus for the Austin event crown on Super Sunday — then the real fireworks started off-court. Dallas, who went 1–4 and finished dead last, immediately dealt top-five women's player Tyra Black to Columbus for Dani-Elle Townsend and cash.
The New Jersey Fives claimed their second straight MLP event title in Austin, with Anna Leigh Waters and Jorja Johnson each going 11-1. Columbus held pool play without Parris Todd while Dylan Frazier's Miami side stormed up the standings.
